These virtual visits are hosted at our local office in each country, where our teams can support families with technology and translation. You’ll be able to talk with your sponsored child and hear about the difference your donations are making in their life.

A suggested minimum donation of £200 per virtual visit will cover all the costs associated with ensuring a stable internet connection and arranging transportation and refreshments for the family. These donations will also be used to provide gifts for the family to make their day extra special and enable World Vision to bring transformational work to other communities. 

Virtual visits in no way takes away from the support and aid that our dedicated teams offer vulnerable children, but instead offers a unique opportunity for sponsored children to experience the joy of meeting and getting to know you personally.

There are some locations where we are unable to offer individual virtual visits for logistical reasons. Please register your interest in the form above and we’ll let you know as soon as virtual visits become available in your sponsored child’s community or a new community. 

We’ve already hosted some group visits and are scheduling more as technology develops. We’re also working on making more one-to-one sponsor visits possible too, as we’ve seen how special this connection is for sponsored children.
